Components

3/4 cups milk.

1/4 cup rice – soaked for 2-3 hours & ground to fine paste.

1/4 cup powdered suger, or to taste.

1 tsp kewra or increased water – (optional) or a drop of kewra essence.

Seeds of 2-3 chhoti illaichi (green cardamom) – powdered.

Varak (silver leaf).

5-6 green pistas – cut very finely.

2 almonds – sliced into very finely.

 

Method

1. Wet rice in a little water for 2-3 hours. Grind in the mixer with a little water to a very great paste.

2. In a dish mix ground rice and milk.

3. Microwave revealed 6 minutes. Stir with a wire whisk, after every minute to avoid lumps development. Break swellings if any.

4. Add sugar. Mix well. Microwave discovered or 3 minutes, stirring in between.

5. Mix well. Cool. Add rose/kewra water and illaichi powder. Pour in specific bowls.

6. Decorate with varak, illaichi and nutes powder. Serve chilled after 2-3 hours.
